Video Demonstration Of The New Map View Feature On The RWGPS Website
The "Map View" feature on the RideWithGPS website is brand new having been released about two weeks ago, and the RWGPS team is quite excited about it. It works for both your free and premium personal accounts, and even more recently, for Club Account libraries.
I focus on our NYCC Ride Library Club Account in this “Map View” demonstration video, but it will also work the same way for your personal accounts.
As for our library, it is made up of hundreds of routes created and submitted by all of you over many years, curated by the librarians, and has no equal as we've discovered looking at many other club account libraries from around the country. That is because of you, the members.
Cycling post-spine surgery
Hello all, I'm in the process of recovering from multi-level cervical (neck) spine surgery, and was wondering if anyone else has had similar surgery and continued cycling.
Ride list
I just accidentally withdrew from a ride. I think it would be good if when you withdrawal you get a message "are you sure you want to withdrawal from...."
Paceline instruction outside of SIG?
New cyclist to NYC, looking to do more group rides and possibly get into racing in future. I see pretty much all of the A/B rides require paceline skills and noted "not for inexperienced riders". The SIG would be a perfect opportunity if I didn't work ~50% of weekends...
Any recommendations for learning these skills for someone who can't do SIG? The C-level rides don't seem geared towards someone trying to learn drafting and pacelining skills unless I am off base.
Thanks for any guidance.
Advice appreciated: small hands, looking for new shifters or maybe new bike?

The whole length to the dam:
No snow. Some mud, but not predominantly muddy. However, the bike needed to be washed when home.
Very rideable.

Looking for a long Sunday group ride?
Hi there,
My name is Laine, and I am a new member to NYCC. I am looking for other competitive cyclists who wish to ride as a group on Sundays. Ride length varies from 4-6 hours. I only see a "C level" ride on Sundays, and feel there is a need for an A/B group ride.
I will check this forum for replies on Fridays to see about coordinating a meet up point: NJ side og GWB is a great option IMO.
Let's see what happens!
CSIG Classification POSTPONED TO SUNDAY
Due to inclement weather, we are postponing CSIG classification to sunday. Same Time and Place, just moved to sunday.
Please remember this weekend, we switch to Day Light Savings, so Spring Forward your clocks.
And if you'll be using public transportation, plan for sunday schedules.
