Seven Lakes Drive and Perkins

Submitted by mgeller1 on Sun, 07/17/2016 - 6:05pm

Been noticing this for a while. It's particularly bad on weekends after 10-11 a.m.

Motorcades of cars or motorcycles racing up and down.  Seems the park isn't properly managed if the automotive traffic is allowed to become so intrusive. It's not just cyclists but hikers that could be at risk.   Also the irony that these guys might some how be trying to explore 'nature' with their loud vehicles and fumes.

Is this an issue with the park's dept to the best of anyone's knowledge?

B16-17 Ride - 85+ mi

Any B leaders want to put together a weekend ride that's around 80-90 miles?  I feel like all the long rides are for A groups.  I can do the distance, just not at an A speed.  I think there would be others interested in this as well.

Thanks for considering!

At our membership meeting Tuesday evening, we estimated there have been tens of thousands of people who have at one time or another been a member of the New York cycle Club since it was founded in 1936.  Of all those thousands -  throughout all that time - it is easy to count the 21 who have been honored with a “Lifetime Member” designation.

These are very special people indeed.  They founded the Club.  They created ENY.  They wrote our bylaws.  These are the people who changed lives for our members, changed the culture of our Club, they are the people who by their mere presence amongst us enriched our days.
