Metro North informed us that they would not honor any "Bike Group" reservations on trains over the holiday. Track work progresses with reduced service.

I just saw a show on TV about restoring the GWB. Thye said after they do the North they are moving to the South. they said the entire project will be done in 2025. Does anyone know how this will affect the south bike path? Thanks

I'd like to ride up 9W to Nyack early tomorrow morning, but not if the shoulder is apt to be substantially covered in snow or ice.  Has anyone driven or ridden on 9W today?  How do the roads look?

I miss the cinnamon donuts already!!! I wish Ted, the owner best for the future. 

I was enjoying an empty bike lane in a dark, frozen Central Park around 6:10 am this morning. As I curved right on the descent to the Boat House, a full-size box truck came barreling down Cat Hill the wrong way with at least five of its wheels in the bike lane.  It was going > 25 mph. I only saw headlights as I ditched over my handlebars in the running path.  I'm okay (although "radius, humerus; you've met!") The truck just kept going, presumably to exit at 72nd. I don't have any more to report.  Be safe.
