Looking to TEST RIDE a 51cm CAAD13 - Anyone have one?
Longshot:
A friend is good at finding used bikes for sale online, and I am looking for a decent deal on an upgrade to my somewhat old CAAD10 (I'd like disc brakes, 11 speed, and wider tire clearance).
The thing is ... my 54cm is not the recommended size, but I'm having trouble wrapping my head around changing down to a 51cm. And since I'm looking for deals on used online, I won't be able to test ride.
I'm wondering if anyone in our community has a 51cm Cannondale I could ride around the block for size? I can meet you where you are. For Covid safety I can wear rubber gloves.
Any no hurry. :)
Bicycle Renaissance on the UWS has closed
Although I only remember them being on Columbus Ave just south of 81st apparently they have been in the area for a long time at a couple other locations.
December Club Meeting - Something Different! Call for Submissions
Please help us make a festive and interactive December club meeting (in lieu of a holiday party) by preparing a 3-minute presentation on your favorite winter riding tips and tricks! The idea is for lots of members to present--either a live-via-Zoom, or in a recorded video clip--your favorite tips for winter riding. You can focus on winter riding gear, how to ride in the snow, or anything else having to do with winter riding.
It won't be fun unless *you* get off your ass and submit something!
Take a look at this 3 minute video that I did in one take, as an inspiration:

Edited: Dunkin in Demarest on Hardenburgh Ave is closed
You know, our favorite Dunkin, off Piermont Road. Their phone is out of service. Anybody know if they're still open?
Edit: It's closed, either the franchise or the building has been sold. Their phone is out of service. This information comes from the Dunkin in Cresskill.

Prospect Park Lunch Laps
Anyone interested in doing a few laps in Prospect Park once/twice a week around 2-3pm at ~16mph?
I've been taking solo "therapy rides" and would enjoy some company (6 ft apart). My adolescent pitbull makes it hard for me to ride early mornings or evenings, but the early afternoon park is warm and empty and a mid-day ride works better than a shot of espresso.
Ideally we'd meet at Grand Army Plaza, but anywhere in the park will do. Location/datetime/duration are all flexible.
