Cycling in Hawaii
I am going to Hawaii for work and I'm planning to tag a bike trip on to the end. Backroads and Bicycle Adventure are booked for the time I'm going. I've heard of only one other bike company Isle Orchid. Curious if anyone has ever done a trip with them or knows of any other Hawaii cycling companies to recommend.
Thanks for any info you may have! Jen
Roads mostly clear - Stamford, Greenwich, Salem, Ridgefield, and New Canaan
On my thirty mile pre-dawn ride this morning I was surprised by how clear of snow the roads are in this area. The area has over 20 inches of accumulated snow. On about 70 percent of my route I could see pavement. In some cases tertiary roads had 1 inch of snow and ice on them mostly because they saw little traffic yesterday. The roads are a little narrower than usual. Snow has been plowed and takes up a space about 3 feet out from the curb on each side of the road.
Amply studded tires will be needed.
Looking to purchase or borrow for a fee your used trainer
I loaned my fluid trainer out and it disappeared. Now I'm looking to borrow or buy your trainer that is most likely sitting under your bed. Email or call with inquiries.
Thanks so much for looking.

XC skiers who are free tomorrow, Friday
I cut a track on the Old Put from Van Cortlandt Lake to the McLean Avenue underpass this afternoon. It is a mile and a half and I left it in good shape at 5 pm. It is only a matter of time before it gets trashed by foot traffic. I went back and forth on the track and it was in decent shape. You can get a fair glide out of a kick and move right along. The track is a mile and a half long.
You can take the #1 train to the last stop, 242 St, exit to the right, the Van Cortlandt Park side, and take the south stairs. I have a set of tracks on your left just after you enter the park on the plowed foot path. Follow them east across the park and under the blue RR bridge and to the left. They will take you to the Old Put and my track. Lots of snow!

How do I renew?
OK, I tried checking the renew item and trying to update my cart, and that didn't work. I tried unchecking the item and checking out, and that didn't work. The link on the main page that says, "Website Upgrade: Important Membership Renewal Information" is broken.
How do I renew?
I generally think overall the website upgrade has been fantastic, but this renewal thing is out of control.

Weir wins gold. A posting for RR who never gets to see the racing.
Richard you may like this. Weir won this years NYC Marathon and I got to witness some of it thanks to you. Cheers.

How to change username?
If it's somewhere in my profile it's definitely NOT obvious. Help me out here, first initial + last name doesn't work for me.
