B SIG 4/24 Armonk Ride is ON
Today's B SIG ride to Armonk is on. 8:30 start from the Ramble Shed.
There might be a passing shower or T-storm, so bring your Metro North pass. Our route has ample bail-out points, so we will be able to avoid riding in the rain for any extended period of time.

Annual Tour de Fireflies, Metro Manila, Philippines. It took place last Sunday, April 17, 2011.
Good Bike Shop to buy rain gear?
Can anyone recommend a shop in Manhattan that has some decent wet weather stuff? I think I should pick up rainproof pants and maybe either a clear shell jacket thing, or a hopefully inexpensive rainproof cycling jacket.
I went around yesterday to Strictly bikes and Westchester Bike Pro shop in the Bronx, didnt find the pants, which were my main concern.
I'm hoping to pick something up today, so quick responses are appreciated. I should have this stuff already (*duh*).

C-SIG Postponed today
The C SIG ride scheduled for today is postponed. Every forecast says 100% chance of rain all morning into the early afternoon. We WILL try to ride on Sunday, despite the fact that it is Easter Sunday. Same start time and location.
As Wayne said for the B SIG: I know that riding on Easter Sunday does present a conflict for a lot of people, but I hope you can find a way to make the ride. Only you can decide what works best for you of course, but I hope you can join us.
Please pay close attention to the message board tomorrow, for any changes to our current plan.

BSTS Ride # 7 Postponed to Sunday 4/24
BSTS Ride # 7 is postponed to Sunday April 24th. We will meet same time and same place as originally planned for the Saturday ride. All participants should have already received an email about the postponed ride. Weather for Sunday is still questionable, so please watch your email and this message board for updates about the Sunday ride.
Stay dry on Saturday.
