The 21st Annual First Aid for Cyclists Seminar
The 21st Annual First Aid for Cyclists Seminar will be offered on Thursday, April 27, at 6;15 PM in the Conference Center at Woodhull Medical Center. This seminar will be open to any NYCC member. We will particularly welcome SIG and STS participants. As is customary, there will be a $20 suggested donation (100% of the proceeds support the Kids Ride Club) and dinner will be provided. Attendees must pre register (so Dr. Fishkin knows how much pizza and chairs to order) and may do so by calling Ruth or Denise at (718) 963-8569.
Commuting to Jersey City
Hello! I've done a search on the MB already but couldn't find any recent info.
Does anyone commute from Manhattan to Jersey City and have a good route from the GWB to JC?

What's your favorite "car start" location for rides east side of the Hudson?
Seeking help from the hive mind to expand my ride repertoire.
I recently moved out to eastern Queens and have access to a car, and I'd like to gather more "car start" ride options starting in Westchester / CT or thereabouts -- the idea being that I can shoot up the Throgs or Whitestone bridges in a car and be up at good ride starts in 45 minutes, rather than slogging through Queens both ways to Grand Central Station all the time or eating lots of junk miles getting out of the city.
When I train it, I'll usually start at the Harrison, Scarsdale, or Tarrytown MNR stops depending on where I'm headed. So I'm familiar with those.

Daylight Lights For Visibility
Does anyone have suggestions for both front and rear lights to make me more visible when I ride alone during the day? I have a decent rear light, but still would like to hear what others recommend. Thanks.
