Frenchman, 100, Sets Record for One Hour Cycle
Marchand rode 24.251 kilometres around an indoor track to establish the first-ever hour performance in the 100-years-plus category.
"I could have gone faster but I didn't want to," Marchand, who was given clearance by his cardiologist in France before making the attempt, told reporters at the International Cycling Union (UCI) track in Aigle where he spent a week preparing.

Standard vs. compact crankset for A-SIG, Club rides, etc
Hi All,
I just purchased a new bike and unfortunately had to purchase it with a standard (53/39) crankset, since I was not able to locate any retailers with the bike in stock in a compact (50/34) crankset. I am coming from a very heavy (23 lb) bike with a triple (52/39/30) and since the new bike is substantially lighter I haven’t noticed any problems with the higher gearing yet.

Seven Cycles Titanium Road Bikes
John at Conrads personally owns a Seven Cycles titanium road bike and recommended that I consider the Axiom SL frame/fork set. I've never ridden a ti bike and have not found many reviews of Seven's ti road bikes. Anyone here own a Seven ti road bike (or have prior experience with one) and care to share their impressions regarding road feel, weight and durability? Based on your personal experience, how does it compare with carbon along those three factors?

Is this full already too? I'd like to join. Barring that, is there a waitlist?

Englewood Police Station--can we still use the bathroom?
Can cyclists still use the bathroom at the police station between Hudson Terr. and 9W in Englewood? I seem to vaguely recall that it was no longer allowed or maybe just disencouraged, but wondered if anyone's been stopping there.
Thanks
