Central Park Ride today

Submitted by kevinkidder on Wed, 02/22/2012 - 11:00pm

I have an interesting prediciment.  I rode the 4 laps today in Central Park.  I had a final time of  1:23:00 and my cyclometer tracked me at almost exactly 17.0 mph, over the course of 24.45 miles. On this site though, 1:23:00 falls in to the 18mph, not 17.

How accurate is the chart on the site? At orientation of the SIG, I am tempted to say that 17 is correct. Has anyone else found this type of difference?

This Sunday 2/26 B-17+ ride to Great Falls in Paterson NJ.

Let's take a ride to the newest National Park: Great Falls National Historic Park in Paterson NJ. We'll see the eponymous waterfall on the Passaic River and take a quick tour of the nearby Paterson Museum  with various industrial exhibits that include the first modern submarine prototype. Along the way, we'll stop for lunch at a kosher restauraunt in Fair Lawn.
