Watch out!

Does anyone have any good routes to get down to the Jersey Shore by bike? I was planning on taking the Ferry to Fort Hancock and riding south to LBI from there or doing something along those lines. Has anyone done this before and have any advice?

I believe I lost my red Samsung Galaxy Cellphone while doing a ride from Grants Tomb to Alpine and back on 9w. It probably fell out on the Northbound rise on 9w before it intersects with Alpine (I've already gone there, and it's not there now). This past evening, during the rush hours of 5-7:00 PM, I had the wonderful pleasure of happily riding in the middle lane of Prospect Park, now reserved just for cycling (although of course two young roller bladers found their way into the lane), as the new DOT traffic pattern has finally gone into effect. This is a huge win for the cyclists who ride in Prospect Park during the hours of 7-9:00 AM and 5-7:00 PM. Hopefully, this will set a precident for doing the same in Central Park in the near future.  It clearly shows that advocacy works!

This message is mainly to clarify conflicting information re: the buffet and program start times for the C-SIG graduation meeting on Tuesday, June 12th. The buffet starts at 6:30 and the program begins at 7:00 PM.
