In an effort to better serve our tech-savy members, we'd like to create mobile applications that would enable members to browse the message board, join/withdraw from rides, route to ride start, and some other useful features. To that end, we're looking to recruit a few good men/women to help with the development and testing.

Sorry everyone, the weather is too iffy and the winds too high.  The ride is canceled.

The weather forecast for Saturday is pretty unpleasant, 20-30 mph winds combined with a temp in the mid-30's.  The forecast may change of course.  I'll make the go/no-go decision by 8 a.m.

On edit:  Sorry, the forecast still has the wind chill in the 20's.  Have to cancel the ride.

Hi NYers! Get those reels and wheels moving - professional and aspiring filmmakers are invited to enter the 4th Annual Ciclismo Classico Bike Travel Film Festival!

The Festival is a highlight of Bike Month 2013, and is the ONLY film festival in the USA that focuses specifically on bicycle travel.  Although the Festival will be held in Massachusetts, anyone is eligible to enter a film.  And it's just a short road-trip, and there's a Ciclismo Classico cycling vacation for the main raffle prize!

is anyone else thinking of doing this?  Rapha's weeklong challenge to fit 500k in between xmas and ny eve (that's 311 miles).  i've wanted to do it in past years but have remembered too late.
