creaky saddle

Submitted by HBorgeson on Mon, 07/11/2022 - 9:00pm

My 20+-year-old Brooks saddle has started creaking in the metal part, mostly every time I shift my weight. Is there a solution to this, or is it time for a new one?

"It is reported to be completed in the fall of 2023."

Vision, political will and funding are the trifecta making this happen:

New Member Looking for Cycling Partners

Submitted by korey.mauer@gma... on Sun, 07/10/2022 - 4:51pm

Hey folks - I just joined the the NYCC. I'm far from an expert, but looking to involve myself more in the sport.

I've often seen large groups of cyclists looping around Central Park in the morning (at around 5 or 6 AM). I was wondering if any of you are a part of one of those groups, and would be open to a new cycling partner?

My number is (336) 338-8973. Please feel free to text me directly or reply to the post. Would appreciate the opportunity to join you!

Will my Wahoo GPS bike computer work in Europe?

Submitted by David Regen on Thu, 07/07/2022 - 8:30am

I am fortunate enough to be going on a tour with Trek Travel this summer to Yorkshire and I was wondering if my Wahoo will work in the UK. back in the days when I had a Garmin, I had to buy a chip that contained most of the roads in Europe. Wahoo doesn't seem to mention it either way on their website. Anyone know the answer?

Sizing for NYCC Store

Submitted by Burtonkd on Tue, 07/05/2022 - 6:20pm

Looking at the NYCC Pactimo Custom sizing guide, I measured my hips and chest; their formula steers me between XL and 2XL for the bibs and jersey. I normally wear a medium in Castelli and most other brands (except Garneau, where I ended up in a 3XL jersey???). I am 5'11" 185lbs (it comes out as a snug aero fit). Anyone have any experience with how the NYCC kits are sized?

More information than you want to know. A bad ad.
