Hi everyone, long time reader but first time poster here.     

I want to get a little more serious about my riding and I'm trying to get into better cycling shape, so I'm looking to get professionally fitted for my bike.  I figure getting fitted is probably the best place to start before making any other upgrades or changes to the bike. 

Anyone have any experience (positive or negative) with the bike shop at REI in SoHo?

Does anyone have experiences with bike tickets in Piermont?  Have you just pled guilty or tried to contest it?  What was the amount of the fine?  Was the ticket properly processed to not result in any points on your license?

Will the police ticket cyclists in a dedicated bus lane?  

Anyone ever get a ticket for riding in one at rush hour?

As a former President of NYCC on whose watch ENY was created - ergo I am one of the founders of ENY - I am appalled at the poor taste of the ENY Committee in its choice of a jersey for this year's event.  The jersey is ugly, inappropriate, irrelevant and most of all a poor choice  for visibiliy.

YAAAAAY!  That rough section north of the park entrance has been done. The road reverts back to the old pavement, then there's another stretch of fresh blacktop on the north-bound lane before the right-hand turn downhill.

  I got a ticket for roling through a stop sign on a bike, Before I plead guilty or not guilty I want to know how much it will cost, The DMV does not let you know  the cost before you plead. What is the cost of this ticket that any of you have received ?
