Perspective
A big thank you to the fourteen huckleberries that were foolish enough to humor me and come on a ride with me this morning. Riding in a group is something to be treasured... it helps to put other nonsense into perspective.
At the end of the ride, one of the participants asked, "you doing this again?"... I originally said no, but if I don't start working on my kitchen remodel this Saturday, I'll post something... stay tuned.
Again, thank you!
George
I interrupt this election for an important cuesheet-related announcement
After a year of mild success living under my personal domain, I'm pleased to announce everyone's favorite cuesheet generator now has a domain of its very own!
(At least until I forget to renew it in mid-2020)
All links using the the previous snuggl.es/roboviva/ URLs will continue to work just fine, but please use the new address from now on. To quote the internet circa 1995: Update your bookmarks!
Election 2016 - Candidate Statements

Helpfully, there's a link to the ballot on this page if you have yet to vote. (If you did vote, the link will serve you a mostly blank page confirming your have-already-voted status)
River Road is peak color
Blue skies, bright sunshine, deep colors.
Will Central Park be Clear to Ride Tomorrow Morning - early (5:30am-7:30am)
Thanks in advance for response
Hacked email account ? Jay J?
.
Anyone else getting strange emails(on many levels) from club member Jay J.?
Jay, you're not really stuck in Mexico, are you?
Losing my touch
Time was that when I posted a ride, it sold out... here we are two days away from a quick, short spin to Nyack, and there's no waiting list.
Talk about being humbled...

Push-Button Traffic Signals for Pedestrians to be Installed In Central Park South of 72nd
From this week's Recreation Roundtable meeting:
DOT has begun work on switching 26 signals on Drive south of 72nd St
- Signals will have pedestrian activated push-buttons
- Signals will be on timer during open vehicle hours and then will
switch to green at all times until ped crossing button is activated.
- New pedestrian crossing signals will also be installed
- Project will go through winter into spring.
It seems to me that push-button lights will likely mean that the lights will be red 90% of the time for cycling traffic on the Loop during high use times (e.g., daytime on weekends in the summer).
Need Info on Painting a Helmet
No jokes, please...someone asked me if there was a paint she could use to paint her helmet without degrading the plastic or the foam. Okay, artistic types, any thoughts? I mean other than judgments yea or nay, please.
