Bronx2Bronx Ride - March 3 - CANCELLED
The greenways and bike paths on our route will likely not be in good shape, and streets are still too messy. Ride will be relisted for March 9.
How is 9W this eveing?
I'm thinking of riding up to Nyack tomorrow AM and wonder what the condition of the shoulder along 9W is like - clear or covered in snow? Has anyone been on 9W today?
A-SIG #Ride 1 weather
Hey A-SIG leadership team
@Douwe Busschops @Michael Gately
im new to this and not sure how to reach you guys. I’m getting ready for our #ride 1 meetup at 8.30am. It’s 6.45am and my street outside my window is covered in snow. I want to to come out and ride but it seems it not to safe to do so. Just confirming we are still going ahead with the ride today ?
thanks
Nelson
The B SIG Orientation and Timed Laps are ON
The B BSIG orientation and timed laps are on for Saturday, March 2.
Rest assured that we are monitoring the weather closely. While rain and perhaps some light snow will continue overnight and through the early morning, the road surface conditions should be fine, especially by the time we head out to Prospect Park. We will have SIG leaders ride the course in advance just to make sure.
Your feel-good moment of the day. Also, a very wrong statement that ignores...well read and see it for yourself..

7 Fantastic Cycling Groups Across the Country
There are many perks to group cycling. A great pack can encourage you to saddle up more often than you would on your own and push you to ride stronger and longer. Groups can also introduce you to new local routes (bye, monotonous training!), and expand your knowledge of the sport.
On top of that, a stellar cycling club can double as a social network, providing an easy way to get—and stay—connected with community. Lastly, riding together is, quite honestly, that much more fun than pedaling solo.
