Ride listing links in email all take me to https://nycc.org/node, not the ride listing.

I'm concerned about distracted drivers and notice that more and more cyclists use lights in the daytime. (I use them as well, particularly when I'm solo.) Typically, on a group ride, I'll run my headlight if I'm lead, taillight if I'm sweep, but otherwise they're off. This past weekend, with another club, all six of us had lights running. Depending on angle, they can be annoying to be behind. Does running lights in a daytime group enhance visibility to drivers, or is the presence of the group itself sufficiently visible? As a leader, should we encourage groups to keep their lights on? Thanks.

Why can I no longer filter rides by "Type"? When I click on either "Cue Sheet" or "Training" no rides are listed. I can still filter by Level and by Day, but not by Type.

Hi all, sorry this has probably been well covered, but it is driving me crazy.

I just signed up for the SIG (which is exciting) and I need to get some fenders for a specialized roubaix 2018 with disk brakes - carbon frame with 28 tyres.

I've tried doing the usual research but more or less everything has 50/50 good and bad saying they rub or rattle, are incompatible with disks or are hard to fit. I've gone down the rabbit hole a bit.

Any advice??

I want to apologize publicly, and through as many channels as I can, for some remarks I made Tuesday evening at the Club meeting.  

Instead of calling all the shops in the city, can anyone tell me which ones may rent a decent (lightweight) non tourist road bike for a day or two?  Thanks!

Four hours and 56 minutes. That’s all the time it took for British Airways Flight 112 to fly from New York’s JFK International Airport to London Heathrow early Sunday. According to the flight-tracking service Flightradar24, the sub-five-hour flight broke the previous transatlantic record of 5 hours 13 minutes between New York and London.

 

A rip-roaring jet stream at more than 260 mph turbocharged the trans-Atlantic British Airways flight, which departed New York at 6:20 p.m. and landed in London at 4:43 a.m. Sunday, nearly two hours ahead of schedule.
