ANNOUNCING THE 29TH ANNUAL WHEELBUILDING/WHEEELTRUING CLASS.
a moment of sentimentality . . . .
Hi All,
Just thinking, feeling a bit melancholy as the old year – old decade - winds down and the new one comes into view.
New York, NY, it’s a helluva town. The entire world comes to Rockefeller Center every year to celebrate the Christmas Holiday nearby the most glorious Christmas Tree in all the land. Days later, right down the street from that wondrous Christmas Tree, all the world’s eyes turn to the big ball as it descends on Times Square ushering in the brand new year. This year Jody and I sauntered down Fifth Avenue on Christmas Eve. The windows were magic, the bright colors and lights spectacular, and the myriad languages we heard along the way was as wonderful as it was amazing.
Congratulations Neile Weissman
Congratulations Neile, and welcome to the "club!"

Trek Travel is looking for Bike Tour Guides
Sorry for the late posting. I received an email back in October that Trek Travel is looking for Bike Tour Guides for the 2020 season. As far as I know, they are still looking for guides. The job description provided is very minimal:
... fun, adventurour and hospitality-centered cyclists to join the Trek Travel team as a Bike Tour Guide in 2020.
I received word a couple of weeks ago, that one of our own members, whom wishes to remain anonymous, has applied and made it to round 4 out of 5.
This type of job is best for someone that has the ability to place-shift their work hours and locations, or potentially a retiree.

Thank you Marc. was "Is someone willing to tweak a Ride with GPS ride?"
Hi:
I would like to create a variation on a ride in the club's library, Carol Waaser's "Northvale Diner", but do not have the appropriate level of the RWGPS. Is someone willing?

Late B17 Listing for Saturday
I just posted a ride to Piermont for tomorrow, Saturday.
I submitted the ride but I forgot to approve it. These are the stupid things you get do to as the B-rides coordinator. Fortunately that won't be a problem in a few more days. The weather is looking about as good as we could hope for this time of year!
