Thanks to Major Taylor cyclist who helped me w/ flat today

Submitted by KLayman on Wed, 12/22/2010 - 8:51pm

Just wanted to thank the cyclist from the Major Taylor club who helped me with a flat tire on the west side path today after I had run out of CO2 cartridges. You saved me a long, cold walk home, and I have sworn never to depend on C02 cartridges again! Will pay it forward.

I wish to buy your 110 mm bcd chainring, in a size 44-48

Submitted by Jim N on Wed, 12/22/2010 - 10:59am

Hi,

Does anyone have a 110 mm bcd chainring, just sitting around collecting dust? I need one to see if it will fix a shifting issue I have, but I don't need a good one or a new one, so if anyone has an old one around, please get in touch. I will pick it up from you, and I'll pay you some rapidly deflating American dollars for it.

Regards,
Jim

This is the link to read what a permanent is: http://www.rusa.org/perminfo.html

This is one of the ways I plan to train over the winter. If anyone wants to help me plan some routes and/or

Keys found on 9W

Submitted by LMazzola on Tue, 12/21/2010 - 3:41pm

This past Sunday, (12/19) I found a set of keys (2 kings on two rings attached to each other) on 9W going south toward the bridge just past the Alpine Police Station entrance. Thought I would pick them up and see if I could get them back to their owner...

Message nesting/threading broken?

Submitted by nycc_oldtimer on Mon, 12/20/2010 - 2:59pm

I responded to RRosenthal's post but it doesn't seem to be nesting/threading properly.

Also, why are the comments fields still white text on blue background.

Both should be easy fixes, no?

Happy holidays.
