Route to Tanglewood?
Hi all,
I want to catch concert or two at Tanglewood this season. Looking at the map, seems it's pretty close to Poughkeepsie, which is trainable. Any suggestions for a route from Poughkeepsie to Tanglewood? Looks to be about 70 miles. Is 9A an option? I'd imagine it gets pretty hilly pretty quickly away from the river, but I'm not scared of hills, just traffic!
Most of the concerts end late, so I'd also be looking for a B+B, or maybe a camping site in the area, and ride back the next day.
Thanks!

Bikes on Verrazano Br
This is an old topic, but here's a newish blog post about it which I just came across. If you feel like filling out the survey, it surely won't hurt and maybe will help the case for bike access to the VB. I filled it out.

sports doctor recommendation?
I've been struggling with some Achilles tendinitis issues, and even with the basic home remedies, I still find myself aching. Does anyone have a recommendation on a good sports doctor? Somewhere near my office in midtown east would be great, but I'll travel far and wide for a good fixin'.
Thanks!

Am I reading this right? Average speed 24.9 MPH over 2000 miles including climbing the Alps and Pyrénées?
Wow.

Question about the ride library
Trying to make sense of how to use the ride library...
The search option of county and distance are a little too broad to search for specific cue sheet that goes to a destination.
The other 2 search options is where I'm having trouble understanding: What does rating means?
And level? (I know about ride level, which is about speed/pacelining, but I doubt that's got anything to do with a ROUTE...)

Bicycling improves in LA
LOS ANGELES (AP) — A new Los Angeles law makes it a crime for motorists to harass bicyclists, verbally or physically.
The City Council approved the ordinance on Wednesday. It also allows victims of harassment to file civil lawsuits without waiting for the city to press criminal charges.
League of American Bicyclists president Andy Clarke calls the law groundbreaking, saying no other city in the nation offers bicyclists an equivalent civil recourse.
Bicycle advocates have complained that motorists throw objects, shout insults and try to run them off the road.
