River Road rock slide

Submitted by Blaffey on Sun, 09/11/2011 - 9:23pm

Riding there this afternoon around 1-2, there were boulders in the road, and a tree down, blocking the road.  Looked like a rock slide.  About a mile south of the turn around before Alpine Hill.

Bike for sale

Submitted by emmag on Sun, 09/11/2011 - 5:05pm
I am in New York on vacation from Australia and have just bought a bike to use while I am here (and have joined NYCC!). I am looking to sell the bike just before I leave at the end of September. The bike is an entry level Jamis Road bike, Ventura Sport (54cm). I would be looking to sell the bike for around $600 (neg). If you are interested in buying the bike or have any questions please let me know and I will send you my contact details. Emma G

Greenway around downtown and Battery Park Sunday status?

Submitted by Anonymous on Sat, 09/10/2011 - 9:11pm

Not sure if there's information out there I didn't subscribe to. Is there any closure affecting the Greenway in and around the downtown area due to the 9/11 activity?
