I was given registration for helping TA with some race prep.  Don't really know anyone else who's riding, but would love some company!

Never rode this tour before, so I don't know how competitive it is.  I hope to be keeping a moderate pace... probably 16-17 on the flats.   Let me know if you'd like to meet up and ride together for a bit!

I must say, seeing all of the 'ride postponed/cancelled' notes for this morning got me feelin' a little blue.  If folks feel it's a safely thing, then I can respect that.  But, if it's just a 'ugh...rain' thing...  We spend so much time running away from the natural world - especially here in this amazing city - that I'd encourage folks to just let go; release yourself into the notion of a bit of discomfort and thereby pass beyond it.  Maybe you'll find a way to enjoy the beauty of the world, and your body within it, in a way that never seemed possible before!

Hi all -- If any NYCC members were in the group of cyclists who stopped to help when I got doored yesterday, thank you all so much.  A special thanks to Nathaniel if you happen to be reading this!

And if anyone has any information of who the responsible party was or the car (van?) license plate, please get in touch.  I am shocked that someone would just walk away, but maybe I shouldn't be.

The important thing is I will be ok in the long run, though there's some bad damage to deal with now.  

Thanks again to all.  Cyclist are awesome people so much of the time!

Hi, is anyone interested in co-leading a B16/17 ride on either 9/10 or 9/11 to Nyack?

I'm new here.  Rode with Ellen Jaffe last weekend and she thought I was a B16/17, although I'm a newbie so shouldn't be leading a ride...but, I'm happy to help someone coordinate one!  There aren't any open "B" rides next weekend on either 9/10 or 9/11....ANYONE INTERESTED IN CO-LEADING A RIDE TO NYACK WITH ME? 

AND, WHO WOULD JOIN THE GROUP FOR A RIDE TO NYACK on 9/10 or 9/11?
