Bash Bish
After one of the worst winters in Berkshires history, the battered and beaten Bash Bish has been mostly repaved. The worst part was the switch-backs and those were done first. Now it's as smooth as glass and sports freshly painted lane lines. Hitting one of the 4" deep potholes at 5 or so mph was like going over a speed-bump.
Police Ticketing in Prospect Park

Die Hards Week 2: squeezing out the last drops of Autumn sun and color.
Weather.com says 38 degrees and super sunny at 9am tomorrow--it'll be a beautiful day but it is time to break out some, if not all, of the winter gear.
To take advantage of what Fall color is left, we've built a cue that starts with Alpine, then rolls along the Clark Rail Trail to Bradley for a little more climbing in the trees, then spin down into Nyack for a muffin, espresso, or egg sammy. Then we'll peel a layer and lay down a nice brisk run home in the sun on Stateline/9W (perhaps breaking into 2 squads based on relative speeds of the group.)
If you're signed up and want the cue sheet, email me.
See you tomorrow!
