Sunday - Pedal & Paddle Scout Ride
We're planning to scout the ~25 miles (RT) from the Boathouse to Laurel Hill Park on Sunday; anyone care to join us?

It's time to say goodbye
To the many NYCC friends we've made over the years-
"All our bags are packed, we're ready to go, we're standing here, outside the door....." (or a close paraphrase)
Indeed, all our bags are pack, and we're anxious to be on the road to our new home in Telluride, Colorado. We knew that we'd leave NYC once we were both retired (or as I view it, on "permanent vacation"), but where to go? Bill suggested somewhere we could cycle all summer, ski all winter. We ended up in one of the most beautiful places on earth, and we feel very lucky to be there. Our plate is very full with all of the plans we have, but that is all part of the fun and adventure.
Bike Travel Box needed in July for California Death Ride
Does anyone happen to have a Thule or similar travel box they would allow me to use to take on the Tour of the California Alps? I'm planning on departing on the 9th of July, and returning on the 18th.
If any help is available, it will be greatly appreciated! Thanks!

First multi-day trip/ tour advice NYC -> Charlotte, NC
Hi guys,
I'm planning my first multi day trip as a kind of 'credit-card' tour (no camping) down the east cost towards Charlotte. I was wonding if I could show you my route and ask if more seasoned tourers have any advice/warnings/suggestions before I head off this Saturday
I'm planning on spending the first couple of nights at friends houses and after that at motels. I've plotted roughly 60-80 miles per day depending on the hills. My route is based on the East Coast Greenway (http://www.greenway.org/index.shtml) but if anyone has ideas for beter routes, or for things that I shouldn't miss on the way.
From Bradley to Nyack...Nyack College building damaged
the damaged building is the one on the RHS just after making the left turn off Bradley onto Highland as you ride into Nyack.

River Road Closed Sunday June 9
Was on River Road this morning and there was a sign saying the park would be closed on Sunday, June 9 from 6am-12pm because of the GWB Challange. This is a bike, walk, run event. If the weater reports are to be believed, then Sunday looks like the best day for riding, so just giving you a heads up in case your route plans take you to River Road.

Tel-O-Fun?
I'll be in Tel Aviv this Saturday with 1 day to see the city. Bad news it's Shabbat and most buses will not be running. Is the bike share (which is open Saturday) a reasonable option? Has anyone done this?
