If anyone has extra room in their car, I would love to tag along. If not, maybe someone would like to split a rental car?

Left work a little early today and was hoping to get in a River Road ride before dinner.  Unfourtantly the south side pedestrian path on the bridge was closed - and the north side has a lot of extra stairs (up and down twice per side).  Really slowed me down, and I didn't really enjoy dragging my bike around (although I know it's good for me).

Excuse me if this has already been covered - but any idea how long this closure will last?  I've signed up for alerts from the port authority site here http://www.panynj.gov/alerts-advisories/advisories.html  but no text from them yet.

Hi out there...

As I normally do, I contected my front greeting table volunteers to remind them of the commitment that they had made a number of months ago to service the front greeting table at the upcoming NYCC meeting, which is on September 10th. Lo and behold, one of my volunteers for this important job told me, via voice mail, that he had moved to California one week ago. An unacceptable excuse, of course, but nevertheless, I now need a second volunteer to work with the inimitable and wonderful Harv Bedi to service the greeting table.

Roads are wet. See you all Thursday morning.

I am registered for the NJ Gran Fondo on Sunday, September 8 and am now unable to do the ride.
I want to sell my registration for $125 (I paid more than this).
