FYI, if you are thinking of dropping down from Riverside Drive to the Greenway using the new bridge at 153rd it is closed. A reopening date is posted. I can't find any online information...but I think the posting indicating reopening in late May.

Riverside South detour

I just looked up the Hudson River Greenway detour between 59th and 70th, because I thought that it was supposed to be for a very limited time in the fall. Streetsblog reports on the 6-month extension, though the info is quite limited:

https://nyc.streetsblog.org/2018/05/02/this-hudson-river-greenway-detour-has-lasted-five-months-longer-than-planned/comment-page-1/

I'm usually in the area just once per week but never see signs of construction. The detour was wholly inadequate for the volume of people using it today.

Any suggestions for a bike shop or other local retailer that sells these? I’m especially interested in the version with caffeine.

Thanks!

Of course it's not "justice." "Justice" would be those killed and all the others horribly injured and consigned to a life of pain and disability would be just as they were June 6, 2016.

Hi - I'm new to the club and am relocating from London to NYC in July this year. I ride both road and mountain bikes and was wondering what the MTB scene around greater NYC is like? How far outside Manhattan does one need to go to find decent cross-country riding?

Many thanks, Mike

Best recommendations for 50mile or under rides

Submitted by MarkDolan31 on Sun, 04/29/2018 - 10:03pm

Hi guys, I am new to road cycling and I want to go on a few rides over the coming weeks. I am looking for a good ride to start with. Lots of people have recommended the 9W to Nyack as this is a very popular ride. Just wondering if anybody had any other recommendations?

Thanks!
