Q: I don't mean to be a smart aleck, but doesn't the department require you to wear a helmet?

Upcoming Event: 3rd annual NYCC/Paragon Sports pre-July 4th Social
Dear Members:
On Tuesday, June 26, 2018, we will be having our 3rd Annual NYCC/Paragon Sports pre-July 4th Social in the cycling dept. of Paragon Sports. Food and drinks will be provided by Cava Union Square. Paragon Sports will offer NYCC attending members 20% off any non-sale items in their cycling dept. for the duration of the event. Also, there may be a surprize raffle gift, courtesy of Paragon Sports. This is a great way to schmooze with your club mates, while picking up some new, discounted, cycling swag and plan to ride together at our New Paltz July 4th get-away weekend from July 6th - 8th. There will be a banner promoting the event on our home page soon. Please see the details below:

Cyclists collided Queensboro Bridge, Mon 5/28 midday - anyone there?
Two cyclists collided on Memorial Day around midday on the Queensboro Bridge. One was wearing a yellow vest and white helmet. He had a white bike. He was taken away by the fire department EMS.

Last year there was construction and detours on two major parts of this route. This year the projects have all been completed and major sections have been repaved. Rode it on Friday.
