Time for some newer pics on the home page?
Perhaps a link or location where members could easily upload and view NYCC
member or activity pictures?
Thanks Rob

Membership expiring--How to renew for 2011
My membership is expiring at the end of December. Any word on how to renew? I already have a password for the new site. Am I supposed to create a new account? When I looked at several options for renewal it seemed like you could join, but I cannot figure out how to renew.
Portland Oregon vacation info request
I am looking at spending a week in Portland Oregon. I have never been and was interested in any road bike routes. I'm an A rider looking to rent a road bike and do a few one day out and back rides on hills. 60-100miles terrain. If any of you have links or suggestions please post them.
Is there a bike club similar to ours out there?
Thanks
Alan

Teaneck Lunch change
Lacking Neile's confidence in my ability to ride in blinding snow, the ride to Teaneck for lunch far from reasonable bailout is modified:
Our new destination is Skyview Glatt Kosher Deli in Riverdale with the option to return via #1 train if appropriate or to bike home with the subway bailout available.
The start time remains 9:30 AM.

Die Hards Flu Epidemic
Due to a particularly nasty flu that respects neither Die Hards or Christmas, I regretfully have to cancel tomorrow's Yule Ride. Damn your eyes, flu.

Cycling for charity. Suggestions?
Hi everyone,
I'm going to be riding in l'Etape du Tour this coming July. For those of you who may not know, l'Etape is a "sportive" that is organized by the same people who run the Tour de France. Every year, they pick one of the mountains stage of that year's Tour (usually the Queen stage) and allow amateurs to test themselves on the course. This year, the route covers 109 km and climbs over 3400 meters, summiting the Col du Telegraphe, Col du Galibier, and finishing on the summit of Alpe d'Huez.
I've started a blog about the ride and my preparation for the ride which you are welcome to follow.
