To the Wise (& not so wise) People on this Forum,

As you've been reading in media over last few weeks, Citibike as a program is in very poor financial condition and continues to lose money. New York City under Mayor Bloomberg had committed that NYC would not ever provide taxpayer funds to assist Citibike. Mayor Deblasi seems not to have offered any proposals.

What creative financial and operating solutions can you propose to improve Citibike's ability to offer cycling to ALL city residents, visitors and tourists, and improve Citibike's financial condition?

Anybody know what channel it's on live. I can only find a repeat playing Monday.

I'd like to buy a baby seat for my 15-month-old - it's going to get mounted on a mountain bike which has eyelets at both the rear axle and halfway up the triangle.  Does anyone have any recommendations?  I'd like to get something fairly nice.  I have no idea what's out there so I am asking NYCC for good advice!

I'm talking a bike seat - like Linus (or was that Rerun?) used to ride in.

I was happy to see the SIG season in full swing and all the NYCC cyclists riding in straight lines on the roads of Bergen and Rockland county last week. Kudos to all the SIG leaders who give their time to show newbies how things are done safely and cooperatively while being considerate of other road users.
