Endorsement for Michael Diener as A-rides co-ordinator
I am going to whole-heartedly endorse Michael Diener for the position of A-Rides co-ordinator. In the short while that Michael has been the co-ordinator, he has done an outstanding job of making EVERYBODY feel more than welcome on A-rides. The Leveled Laps in Central Park on Tuesday and Thursday mornings have been an extremely enjoyable experience because of Michael's efforts in organizing them and consciously incorporating feedback received from the laps riders to constantly improve that experience. Additionally he is out on the roads every weekend leading a variety of rides that are suitable for everyone's skills.
Endorsement Alert! Michael Diener for A-Ride Coordinator!
I'm thrilled to throw my wholehearted support behind Michael Diener for the role of A-Ride Coordinator. Michael's dedication and innovation have truly transformed the Central Park cycling experience through his creation of level-laps – an absolute gem in the world of road cycling!
For those lucky enough to have taken part, you'll know what I'm talking about. The passion and enthusiasm that level-laps inspire is unparalleled. Michael's exceptional leadership shines through as he goes above and beyond to engage all members, including newcomers, providing valuable instruction, prioritizing safety, and championing the club like no other.

Fantastic Talent Show 11/7/23
Thank you Ellen Jaffe and Colin Taber for organizing. Thank you Dave Sabbarese for your excellent job as Master of Ceremonies. And, thank you to all the talented NYCC member performers. Wonderful night.
What does one do with the terrible anger this evokes?

Over the years I discovered that several of my friends had died in MB--I'm not sure how I would have found out.

Change of subway service to Marathon ride
Those taking subway to start, take N train to transfer to R at 59th. Walk stairs to other side of tracks for R to 95th St. No R train at 36th St. station. Sorry for the sudden MTA changes. Alfredo
Look sharp tomorrow, if you're doing the pre-Marathon ride.

I'm not doing it this year, but there might be a NY Times reporter and photographer in the midst of this "unsanctioned" ride.
