Stiching in my shorts seems to wear out, Need a fix
Hi Folks,
I seem to wear out the inner right seat stiching that holds the chamois in place.
This happens on several pairs of Pctimo bib shorts and I think it's "ME" and not in itself the quality of the shorts.
I have had fixes through warranty and local tailors who stitch them up. Using several pairs allows the issue to not be crucial but am looking for a tailor or company who speacializes in these sort of repairs. When the tailor fixes them, they do last a fair amount of time but also may be the thread type.
As I am NOT a seamstress I can tell that Pactimo uses a straight 3 row stitch and the shorts that last longer use a Coverstitch method and that lasts longer but the Pactimo brand are more comfortable. Thoughts?

Comfy road bike seat.
Hello to all,
I am looking for a comfortable seat that can replace the one that came with my Specialized Roubaix Expert bike (2014). It's been a painful experience ever since I bought the bike.
Would prefer to spend under $150..preferably under $100.
I realize seats are a personal thing but thought I would start here with some possible recomendations.
Any thoughts?
Thanks, Clark

The NYCC's new sponsorship package is very business-like...and that is precisely what's wrong with it!
We are a recreational bicycle club. The club's new all-embracing sponsorship package to gain sponsors (sic; yes, sponsors ($$$) for a bike club) holds out as a reason for potential ($$$) sponsors to ($$$) sponsor us is they can thereby influence our members, the better to sell us their products. Yep, business; and the business of business is to...sell, sell, SELL! The entire package reads as a college marketing student's paper and project. Someone wanting to put into practice what he learned in business school with us as his commercial plaything. But, yessss. $$$$$$! For us! For our recreational bike club. Fun!!
Looking for a riding partner
Hi:
I'm looking for someone to ride with.
All these routes are 50+ miles with 3,000 feet of climbing.
The catches:
- minimize rest breaks, typically no more than 5 minutes, and they are not planned. We stop when we need to use a restroom.
- start as early as possible.
- pace between 12 and 14.
I have several routes that start and end at Sloatsburg/Suffern stations or ride back to Nyack. I have 3 - 4 routes that go around/through Sterling Forest, Harriman. All paved. I know the roads are open as the routes were provided by someone that lives in that area. We would need to be on a 9am train from Penn.
