This is an easy route through the suburbs and stays off Rte. 9W.  The cue sheet takes you to Goswick Pavillion near the pier in Piermont, where the Newcomers Ride has its lunch stop.  On any other day, you'll need to go into Piermont to pick up lunch and go out to the pier (keep going past the Pavillion) for a picnic or stay in town for lunch.  The pit stop on the way out is in Allison Park, where there's a lovely viewing spot overlooking the Hudson.  You can sometimes spot deer on the road to and from the Park.
