Route over High Bridge at Poughkeepsie then rail trail to New Paltz Rd, reverses this on return.

Water stop Mohonk gate house spigot at mile 15.2, top of ascent.

in on 55/209 in Napanoch @ mile 35.6 & West Shokan on Rt 28A @ mile 65.

Rail trail/Rosendale Trestle options on return, cue sheet 2: Rt 213, left on Binnewater Rd, 0.9 miles from Cottekill Rd, rail trail/access to Trestle 0.25 miles on right. Follow rail trail south to Rt 299, New Paltz in 7.4 miles. Plus options to get back onto start of Springtown Rd/Rt7 just after trestle, rail trail cafe stop:

(another 1.3 miles further) where you can stay on rail trail or take East River Rd 0.4 miles and get onto Springtown Rd.

Metro North bike permit needed.
