It will come as no surprise, that the New York Cycle Club’s Board of Directors has decided to CANCEL all Club-sponsored activities for the next eight weeks. This cancellation includes all SIGs, STSs, Club rides, laps-in-the-park training rides, social events, and Club meetings. For more details, please see the home page.

Minnewaska – 299/Trapps Bridges (1st crest) 1.41 468' 6.3% Minnewaska – hairpin/Trapps Bridge 0.57 218' 7.2% Red Hill Rd – from Sugarloaf to crest 0.88 345' 7.4% Sugarloaf Rd – start of climb to Red Hill Rd 3.24 1255' 7.3% Sugarloaf Rd – top 0.77 to Red Hill Rd 0.77 482' 11.9% Sugarloaf/Red Hill Rd – to crest Red Hill 4.12 1600' 7.4% Rt 52 climb from Ellenville to crest 3.8 1180' 5.9% A public drinking water pipe is on Sugarloaf, on the left, less than 0.1 mile past the turn for Red Hill. Note: If you study cue sheets and maps, you can add Mohonk/Clove Valley Rd as well as South Gully to this route. Or, if you are running late, at Walker Valley, you can just continue on to Beacon directly on Rt 52, a shorter and flatter route.
