Enjoy an NYCC Berkshire Weekend tradition--the annual All Class Ride to Lakeville Lake. This is a scenic and relatively easy (there are some hills--this is the Berkshires) ride. Stop at the Lime Rock Church for water and bathrooms and their wonderful bake sale, then on to the Lake for a picnic lunch. (Pick up food at a nearby deli.) The return is a slightly hillier ride with a spectacular view.
If you wish to ride to the start from Great Barrington, that will add about 7 miles to the morning ride and add another 7 miles for the return for a total of 55 miles. If you drive to the start and drive back to Great Barrington, you will ride about 41 miles.
