Zwift and a dumb trainer
I got the Zwift app working on my computer with cadence and speed. I see that there are now such things as smart trainers, like the Wahoo Kicker Snap. Do I need that to make Zwift worthwhile? Trying to figure this out. So far, far I have only spent a few dollars on an ANT stick that will allow zwift to pick up my ancient Garmin 1.0 speed and cadence sensor.
You absolutely MUST read this beautiful, touching column.

Of course you would never ride an e-bike, but...: $$$ tax benefit
The House passed the Build Back Better Act—it still needs approval by the Senate—which includes:
• A 30% tax credit over five years for the purchase of an e-bike;
A great note from Andy Muzi
Andy's high end bike shop, Yellow Jersey, was in Madison, WI, for many years and is now 22 miles north of it. It is truly a classic, like no other shop I know. It sells pro and custom bikes...but even better it keeps alive names of high end manufacturers from what I regard as the Golden Age of Cycling, Part II.
