Civil Twilight Ride - Wednesday - Canceled
Canceled due to rain.
Can you bestir yourself to support this?
Not that I think electronic petitions do any real good, but if you lend yourself to this effort, it might make YOU feel good. Richard, dyspeptic as ever.... I just discovered the linked petition bore my name/address so I've removed it. This will require a bit more conscientiousness on your part: contact TA. It is their note I put up. (212) 629-8080

I don't know how to post a link here but I seriously suggest that you guys check out You Tube for "Martyn Ashton Road Bike Party". Bike Snob has it on his blog today also. It'll make your day.
River Road Tuesday Cancelled
Because of the rain today's ride is cancelled.
A19 - Tuesday 10/9 - Fall Foliage Ride #3: Weekday Edition - CANCELLED
Strong likelihood of rain and/or wet roads for first half of ride (combined with this cooler weather) has prompted us to make the call tonight and cancel tomorrow's ride.
We'll try again next week - hope to see you then.
Basil and Sabina.

reccomendations on loud horns or bells
Looking for reccomendations on loud horns for commuting. For use to alert cars- not bikes or peds. The only two I've seen on the market are the hornit and the airzound- both over the top, crazy loud. Is there anything else out there?
Thanks

Bike locker for terrace?
My wife and I are consolidating our apartment in preparation for an impending arrival, and as such there is no longer room for keeping our road bikes (2) in the apartment. We're thinking of keeping them on the terrace instead. Rather than just leaning them against the wall, we were thinking getting some sort of bike shed so that they're not completely exposed to the elements. So far all I have found is the Keter XL stor-shed:

Can anyone recommend any other choices? We're looking for something that can hold two road bikes.
