I don't post here often, but I moved up to the Catskills from downtown NYC about 8 months ago, and I've made it my mission to get as many people riding up here as possible.

Regarding the candidates for Mayor, does anyone know:

1) Where the candidates stand on the bike share program

2) Where the candidates stand on bicycling in NYC in general

3) What bike changes they would do to Bloomberg's policies

I'm planning a ride to the Jersey Shore this June 23rd. Current plan is to go over the GWB and use the East Coast Greenway route , stop in New Brunswick for kosher pizza around mile 50 and keep going through the pine barrens to Point Pleasant where we take a break, maybe some ice cream and do some boardwalk stuff  at the Jenkins Family amusement center on the boardwalk before heading back up along the shore to dinner at a kosher restaraunt in Deal (there are several choices all quite near each other) then continuing on to Long Branch and NJ Transit back to NYC. I'd like to do this as a fast B ride or slow A ride.
