The recent drawdown of the New Croton Reservoir that started September 6, 2022, leading the New York City Department of Environmental Protection (DEP) to issue an advisory against recreational activities in the Croton River, has now ended and is no longer in effect.

Beginning on Sunday, September 11 at 4AM and continuing until 3AM Sunday, November 13, Coach USA buses will replace Port Jervis Line trains at New York stations (between Port Jervis and Sloatsburg) at the times shown below to support NJ TRANSIT and Metro–North work to replace ties, switches, and perform other maintenance work.
