Why is NYCC storing so many of our credit card numbers?
I was in the process of renewing my membership, was astonished by the long list of of my past credit cards this web site kept on file! (And presented for me to choose from to renew my membership)
Some of those credit cards must have gone back quite a few years! Sure, they were all cancelled due to being "compromised" while stored in other merchant's casually managed unsecure database over the years. So it's of no practical problem for me personally that NYCC kept all of them for so long.
car ride to Great Barrington this weekend?
This is a last minute request but....
Anyone with space in their car for at least my bag? Or further, a bike and me?
Pls message me directly if so. Thanks!

All rides stop at the Lime Rock church bake sale on the way to Lakeville on

Farmer's Daughter Gravel Ride
Curious is any other NYCC'ers are doing the Farmer's Daughter Gravel Ride this Sunday?
I'm only game for the 'Granddaughter" this year but would like to say "Hello" if anyone's coming.
Gravel rides - Bershires Weekend
There's been only a little interest in Berkshires gravel rides this year. The following two routes have been used in the past:
https://ridewithgps.com/routes/35938767 - this is a 49-mile gravel ride that includes our picnic location at the lake in Lakeville, CT, sandwiches available nearby as described in the Weekend announcement https://nycc.org/Berkshires2024.
https://ridewithgps.com/routes/30000699 - this is a 50-mile loop gravel ride out of Great Barrington. Thanks to Reyna Franco for these routes.

I know that RR is closed on Sunday for the Gran Fondo. Is it open as usual tomorrow?
Weekend Trip To Montreal May 31-June 2
Hey all - you may know me as Ride Director of ENY since 2020... so I know a thing or two about escaping New York... Since 2014, I have been leading trips of various sizes to my home town in Montreal. I am putting one together for May 31-June 2. Friday night the city has Tour la Nuit - a closed-course night time ride where the locals cheer the riders on. Sunday, they have their Tour de L'ile. You'd have your choice of 25, 50, 75 or 100 KM rides... on Saturday? I'll take you on an informative tour of my home town. If you're interested in joining - please email me at [email protected] - Capacity is limited to 15 trippers. Hope you choose to join! Allan
Question regarding earbuds for windy conditions
Hi, can anyone recommend earbuds for making conversation in windy conditions?
I have the Jabra 75t and its impossible for the other side to hear me when talking while riding due to teriblle wind noise.
Thanks!
