restaurant throwing grease in road -- 181st and cabrini
Sorry if this has been discussed before. I had a bad accident yesterday at the above intersection. The cause, as indicated, was grease in the road from a restaurant. The neighbors who came out to help have told me that other cyclists have had bad accidents there in the past -- broken bones, scrapes, etc. Apparently, one of the restaurants on this corner has been creating this hazard for months (in my case, one of my witnesses slipped on the grease, as did the police car and ambulance).
Does anyone on the board know about this problem? Has anyone else had an accident there or know about this restaurant?
If you do, could you please respond here or drop me an email ([email protected])
Thanks for any help!

Cyclist ticketed...
for riding on the shoulder of the Palisades Parkway. Cop car blocked the right lane, lights on and backing up traffic for a mile. I guess I picked the wrong afternoon to drive to the Piermont Bike shop.
