True story. On 9W heading south last Thursday, coming past the parking lots of the commercial buildings after the gas station sprint. Look in my little rearview mirror and there's a car SITTING on my tail, maybe three feet from my rear wheel. I wave her around me. She stays. I look to see if her signal is on so I know she's just waiting to turn right and not just screwing with me in an agressive manner. She finally turns into driveway. I turn into the next one and follow her to her parking spot, not to be confrontational, but to educate her on some etiquette on the road. ME: Why were you sitting so close to my wheel? The New York Bicycling Coalition (NYBC), a twenty-five old non-profit organization based in Albany, New York, is seeking a full-time Executive Director.
Since 1990, New York Bicycling Coalition (NYBC) has served the State of New York and its residents by providing a clear and consistent voice for the interests of people who ride bikes and by promoting the safe use of the bicycle for transportation, recreation, health, and tourism.

At the cost of 15-20 thousand dollars per car, they could've had a whole fleet of decent road bikes/mtb's to patrol the whole park.

saying clear
- The practice of yelling “clear” is, in fact, pretty widely accepted but varies from place to place.
- Those who follow the practice do so with the understanding that it remains incumbent upon each and every rider in the group to “look out for themselves” – that a “clear” call is really just a temporal courtesy from the person at the front of the group, at that particular time that they arrive at the intersection, stop sign, etc.
