Marty Epstein, proprietor of "Marty's Reliable" in Morristown, NJ, Gran Fondo NJ co-director, (and a sponsor of three NYCC meetings for the past three years), asked that I inform you of an exciting event coming up on March 26th in Parsippany, NJ: "An Evening with Bob Roll". For those of you who are unfamiliar with Mr. Roll, he is the hilarious NBCSN color commentator on the Tour de France and numerous other professional bike races. Mr. Roll is also a former professional bicycle racer, who was on the first "7 Eleven" US team, that raced in the Tour de France. He is also the author of Bobke, Bobke II and A Viewer's Guide to the Tour de France.

R-STS #1 was moved to Sunday. Also, we ride out of Manhattan and the destination is Port Chester BBQ (3rd time the charm we hope). Info about the R-STS series here.
A Classic 3/7 ride moved to Sunday
The A Classic ride to Park Ridge is now on Sunday to give the roads some time to clear up. Please let the captains and roster bosses know if you are unable to make it.
B SIG Orientation and Laps are ON, but With a Switch
The B SIG orientation and laps are ON for tomorrow. We are switching the order, however.
We will meet at Savior at 9:45 ( not 9:30) for our indoor session and will do the laps afterwards.
The address is 588 6th Street, Brooklyn. The closest subway stop is the 7th Avenue stop in Park Slope on the F train. If you get on at the very front of the train, you will come upstairs on 8th Ave & 9th St. Walk 3 blocks along 8th Ave to 6th St. The school is on the corner of 8th Ave & 6th St. Entrance is on 6th St.
I have no idea why someone sent me this fine video. Look at the guy's strong cadence at the end.

Sunday Spring Series?
sundaySundaySUNDAY! (Read that in booming announcer's voice.)
Anyone interested in organizing a series of Sunday B rides? I'm inspired by Joe and Mary's Easy Peezy series post...and by the fact that my schedule sadly does not permit me to participate in the SIG/STS. =/
I was thinking B-15 or 16ish, shorter distances at first, transitioning to longer. No coaching, of course, but, well, I know I'm always open to pointers. Ideally people would do at least a few of the rides - it might be nice to see some of the same faces from week to week and get to know people while getting back up to speed.
