Last night, at the membership meeting, my emotions jumbled with my words; I was unable to talk, unable to express myself. I was nevertheless certain of the gratitude each and every member of the New York Cycle Club feels toward Neile Weissman for being our President these past two years.  Thank you, Neile.  You have been an amazing President.

Club President: Christy Guzzetta 392, Neile Weissman 161, 13 Abstentions...

Amendment to change Presidential term limits defeated: 274 nay, 255 aye...

Amendment to change voting procedure to align with NY State guidelines for non-profits: 430 aye, 90 nay... amendment passes..

If you haven't yet voted, now is the time for your voice to be heard. I understand electronic voting ends tomorrow morning, Tuesday, 11/10,  7:00 am. You'll also be able to vote in person until 8:00 PM at the club meeting (see the home page for details about the meeting).

It appears the campaigning is pretty much over. You've read the candidates' statements, you've followed the "conversations" on the message board, and many of you know each of the candidates personally. Now is the time to be counted. The only way you are counted, the way your voice is heard the loudest, is with your vote. I hope you'll take this opportunity to speak up on behalf you your club and vote.
