A tip of the helmet to Kirby Azurin
I suspect there are a number of NYCCers who are running in the marathon tomorrow and good speed to all of them. But here's one in particular: Kirby Azurin ran the Marine Marathon in Washington two weeks ago, rode the most difficult ClimBathon route there has ever been today (for just one example, Rockland Cemetery to the top, anyone?), and is running the NYC Marathon tomorrow. He is 41 years old.
