Garmin 810 Help Needed
Marilyn decided a GPS device was just what I needed, so she gave me a Garmin 810 as a birthday present. Yeh.. just what I need... an ulcer. Some present!
I can create new routes; lead rides; show members how to fix flats; sometimes even fix a derailleur on the fly. But figure out how this device works.. uh, uh!!!
Help! I'm button challenged. Will some kind person donate 15 minutes to show me how this gadget works? Please...
Thanks in advance,
Ken
Dura-Ace 9000 C50 Clincher VS. Mavic Cosmic Carbone SLE Clincher
Considering to upgrade my bike with a new wheelset. Based on requirements I have currently two 2013 wheelsets in mind. Dura-Ace 9000 C50 Clincher VS. Mavic Cosmic Carbone SLE Clincher. Dura-Ace is somewhat $300 less. Both sets have pretty good reviews, although limited in numbers and scope since they were just recently released.
Any input and considerations are highly appreciated.

PRINCIPAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
6/22 Bucks County PA / New Joisey Scouting Ride (B16ish)
Hey folks! I'm scouting a ride on Saturday, 6/22. It's around 75 miles, 4600 feet of climbing.
The route takes NJ Transit, starts in Princeton, crosses the Delaware in Lambertville and New Hope, goes through Bucks County, crosses back at Frenchtown, has a stop in then rides east to Raritan. I only know parts of the route, so it won't be listed as a normal ride.
If you are interested, contact me directly.

safety in numbers
I took my driver's license in Sweden and there too driver's are taught to open their doors with their right hand. the movement forces you to twist your body to the left and you will most likely see an oncoming cyclist. The same is taught in traffic schools in Germany, Denmark. When I took my license here (ironically it is much easier to take a new license then to try to ''convert'' a European license) not once in either theoretical part (which is a joke anyway) or practical part was there ever a word about cyclists and bicycle traffic.

Chili cookoff, country fair, and oh yeah - a bike tour!
Hi NYCC friends! Just a reminder as we are getting close to full and registration closes July 14th. Yankee fans welcomed despite the tour location in the heart of Red Sox territory :)
