Iride Bicycles participating in NYC luxury event. We have some invitations if you want to go.
Hi Everybody,
Made to order Iride bicyles will be featured in the latest Luxury Review event in Manhattan October 3. We have a handful of invitations to pass on for this invitation only event. If you are around then and would like to go, message me back, I'll send you an invitation, while supplies last, as they say. I would like to have more bikers here.
Thanks

Would you pay over $150 to ride in a century? (for JUST the ride fee)
Not to name names, but a very popular regional ride producer is suggesting, via their very early presale for next year, that the cost of their extremely popular ride is going to be $150, plus fees, and then return transportation on top of that.

Twin Lights Ride by BikeNY: Today Last Day to Sign Up Online: Are Any B or C Riders Planning to Go?
Today is the last day to sign up online for this ride. It is $65.00 online and $80.00 on the day.
I've never done the ride and am not sure that I will do it this year, BUT it is always much more fun to ride with others from the NYCC. I know some A Riders are going; I am a C+/B- rider (anywhere up to B16, probably could do B17).
Is anybody else who is more or less my level planning to go? Please let me know, either responding here or to me at [email protected].
Thanks!
Jim
Reflective safety vests
I have reviewed many. Those in the link below work best to reflect light. Plus they can be customize for nycc. Keep riders safe. Do not let them ride with inferior reflective vests like I saw in the ENY event photos.

I have used this vest for the last 8 months, or 4,000 pre-dawn miles. The vest is excellent.

Has anyone ever heard of the above.
I've just been given a track bike that was custom made for the previous owner. It's a lugged Columbus polished stainless steel frame that dates I believe from the seventies.
