gonna be brutal this saturday and was looking for some warmer options. no comments on price i'm only interested in function

I design jerseys. In fact I’ve designed three that were adopted by the club. So that I may comment objectively here, i.e. without appearing to comment in my own self-interest, I completely remove myself as a possible or competing designer from a new club jersey.

The just published September board minutes  https://nycc.org/sites/default/files/Minutes%209-4-18%20%28FINAL%29.pdf (Item #9) informs us the board selected a man to design a new club jersey following its being urged to contract with him by the club’s self-titled “creative director.” (Ad agencies have creative directors. High fashion apparel designers/manufacturers have creative directors. Do you think any other bicycle club has a creative director?)

Does anyone know the regulations for shipping a bike with batteries? Di2 internal? Vivax? External/removable?

I am not sure if there are differences between shipping--and packing as luggage, either carryone or checked.

The websites I've looked at give conflicting instructions, so I am hoping to hear some first hand reports.

Interesting piece by Leonard Zinn, who writes about how his new ebike enabled him to do rides that would otherwise be medically unsafe. (Zinn has arrhythmia. He also wrote The Haywire Heart, a terrifying book about endurance athletes and the their predisposition to arrhythmia.) 

But the ebike story is cheering--and his custom build is sweet.
