Ride Leader swag for 2020 leads?
I lead rides for the NYCC swag. I noticed the website only mentions swag for 2019 leads. Is there no swag for 2020 leads?
Repaving of Floyd Street And Great News On 9W Shoulder Widening
This spring I've become increasingly concerned about the deteriorating condition of Floyd Street. Yesterday, I wrote the mayor of Englewood Cliffs Mario Kranjac and just received his welcome and thoughtful reply, and which covers the topics in the subject line, a safety request, and great news about the planned widening of the 9W shoulder to the state line where needed.
First, my e-mail to Mario of yesterday:
Dear Mario,
Greenway status, esp. West Side?
Is there a one-stop place to get status of the various area greenways?
In absence of that, what's the status of the West Side Greenway, between 125 and Dyckman? Any closures or detours?
Thanks
Road tubeless tires on clincher rims (with tubes) ?
I've got lots of extra used 700c road tubeless tires with plenty of meat left on them. A neighbor gave me an old Peugot Record Du Monde bike that they were going to throw away. The bike is solid for the most part, but the tubes & tires on the wheels were rotting. Can I put my road tubeless tires on the 700c rims of the Peugot so long as I also add in some tubes?

Tub O' Towels (cleaning wipes)
I highly recommend this: Tub O' Towels. It's a cleaning wipe product.
It's amazing for cleaning bike drivetrains, cleaning bike frame, cleaning bike grease off hands, not to mention various household cleaning. It's super convenient; I always carry some in a ziploc bag while riding. I've tried many things including e.g. Trisodium Phosphate; Tub O' Towels works way better.
I have nothing to do with the company. Just wanted to share something that works well for me.
It comes in a yellow & black cylinder.
