Road/Gravel Bag for Shipping/Flights
Hi:
I am looking for recommendations on a bag to purchase to take a bike with me when I travel. The bag needs to survive either being shipped or being in the belly of a plane.
I am leaning towards either a hard case or a combination case (both hard and soft). Ideally, the least amount of disassembly possible. Taking the wheels off, no issue; removing the saddle and/or seat post, no issue; potentially open to removing the stem or handlebars. Removing the rear derailiur not going to happen.
Thank you for your thoughts.

Parking at Queens near "Statue of Civic Virtue" ride starting spot advice?
When I used to live in Manhattan, I simply took the subway to that popular spot for start of many rides to Long Island.
But now I no longer live in Manhattan, it's more convenient to drive to the start. I figure there may be others who had done it often and could offer suggestions as to where I should go looking for parking nearby? That would save me going around in circles endlessly looking for parking in the morning.
Thanks
NYC to Atlantic Highlands
I thought I once saw a route from NYC to Atlantic Highlands in the library but I can't find it. Anyone know? Thanks

City Island
I'm having trouble navigating the library. Does anyone have a cue and/or RWGPS link for Johnny's Reef Restaurant in City Island? TIA.
Anyone Ever Done a Long Weekend in Maine (w/lobsters)
A friend of mine and I want to spend 2-3 days riding in Maine. Neither of us has been up there. Any suggestions on a nice place to stay for a few nights and do 50-60 mile loops (routes?) during the day? (Someplace that's near a good lobster restaurant!)
Thanks.
