cables

Submitted by davman on Fri, 03/30/2012 - 7:54pm

I am refurbishing my bicycle and need to replace the brake and Derailler cables and housing.  I have asked at a few bike stores and they give me varying prices.  I think it is important that they are installed properly [I will be providing the cables and housing].  Can anyone recommend a good place to do this that is not so expensive.

Submitted by VBaruh on Fri, 03/30/2012 - 6:03pm

No it is NOT an April Fools Joke

As all weather forecasts are unanimous, AND we do not like riding in the rain (we are wimps) BSTS ride is postponed to Sunday April 1st.

We will meet at same time and same place.  See you Sunday.

A ghost bike story

Submitted by RRosenthal on Fri, 03/30/2012 - 8:20am

The following story is really not bike-centric so much as the ghost bike is used as a point of departure (and repeated return) for a family (not cycling) remembrance, but it is nicely done.
